| Paulding County is located about 30 miles NW of Atlanta in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains includes the Cities of Hiram, and Dallas which is the county seat of Paulding County. Dallas was founded on May 14, 1852 and was named after George Dallas, the Vice President of the United States under President James Polk.
